The North Carolina Council of Chapters met in Winston-Salem for the June 5-6, 2026 Seminar with chapter representation from across the state. CAPT Frank Michael, USN (Ret) was the guest speaker and presented the 2025 Levels of Excellence Awards. Tarheel Chapter provided the Missing Man Table, catering coordination for the evening meal, and the Saturday lunch. Presenters for the seminar covered topics on leadership, succession planning, Surviving Spouse Liaison support, outreach, and personal affairs. All presenters were thanked with a bottle of Scuppernong Grape Juice since the scuppernong grape is the North Carolina State fruit.
